On this important day of mobilization, don't be scared off by self-appointed experts giving you a bunch of rules for how to protest or what not to do. The most important thing we need is more people in the streets, period. Our safety comes from numbers. As a criminal defense lawyer for decades...

there are a lot of poeple who believe the dems are in charge even when they're not in charge
Every day it becomes harder for my trans friends to get the care they need explicitly because Dems did jack shit while in office and now Republicans are free to push all the anti-trans laws they want, so don't fucking tell me that "democrats have done a lot actually," because they've done *nothing.*

This story is nuts.

"ICE agents then surrounded the judge’s car and demanded everyone to exit the vehicle, threatening to smash in the windows if they did not comply."

Number one, they didn’t tell anyone to disobey lawful orders. Number two, even if they did, you can’t execute them for it.

A Trump supporter started murdering his way through an assassination list of Democratic law makers FIVE MONTHS AGO. He murdered my colleague Melissa Hortman, and her husband Mark — and attempted to assassinate my dear friend John Hoffman and his wife Yvette. I was also on the hit list. WTF

I was talking with a client today about our respective paths to sobriety and I calculated that I have been off the sauce for six years, four months, and six days, which has a pleasing symmetry to me.

Don't overthink. Trump isn't going on a death-threat rant for some tactical purpose. It's because things aren't going well for him and when things don't go well he melts down like a toddler. It's bad that a president is doing this but it's because he's losing it. It's not part of a grand plan.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

I find it bitterly funny that people more toward the left, who ridiculed liberals as being like “better things aren’t possible,” are now the ones sad sacking their way through this moment, being like “I don’t like it when people say we’re going to win.” Have some self respect.

I’d remind you what ultimately became of Nixon, a president who tried to hide his crimes in the face of mass public scrutiny.
lot of people on this app seem really committed to the notion that nothing damaging will come out of the Epstein files.

Massie's prediction that the Administration would use the bogus Trump-directed "investigations" of Bill Clinton and Reid Hoffman as an excuse to continue blocking release of the Epstein files, on the spurious grounds that it's an ongoing investigation, is looking pretty good here

sounds like the speculation was correct and Halligan responded to being no-billed on one count of the indictment by fabricating a second indictment that did not contain the no-billed count

but you can’t just do that, you have to present the new indictment to the grand jury too

she did not
HUGE development IN hearing for Comey selective prosecution motion, It turns out that the grand jury NEVER saw the operative indictment. Whole separate basis for dismissal. Standby for more.
