Lenny Wilkens' storied career included two stints as head coach in Seattle totaling 11 seasons, and two seasons in Portland — during one of which he still played and averaged 18 minutes per game.

He coached 2,487 games in the NBA, which is still a record. He became a Hall of Famer as a player, as a coach and again as part of the 1992 U.S. Olympic team — on which he was an assistant. Wilkens coached the Americans to gold at the Atlanta Games as well in 1996.

State officials say demand is outpacing supply for screens to keep salmon from getting stranded in irrigation canals, but a project is under way to help out fish and farmers.
Salmon are back in the Klamath River and finding their way into irrigation canals, something farmers and officials want to prevent
The Klamath Drainage District is also working with federal and state agencies on a $4.5 million multi-screen project within the Ady Canal. The first screen is planned for 2026, pending funding approval.
