Also, just a reminder that in order to be able to work with the intricately small nerves and veins and such Victor says he used body parts that were at least 33% larger than average, so canonically Frankenstein’s Monster has a huge dong.
I just need everyone to know the type of innovator I am in the idiom space. My husband & I were trying to coordinate multiple sets of plans for a single day just now & I said to him “Look, there’s a lot of ways to slice this egg.” Who’s doing it like me?

Most people who don’t get off on abusing minors have a phenomenon that naturally occurs usually by their mid-20s (a few yrs after being out of college) where they look at high schoolers & go “Man those really are CHILDREN aren’t they?” & if that’s not kicking in for you you might want to look inward

The Christian right for decades has fear-mongered that federal agents (under Dem presidents) would "criminalize" Christianity and literally prevent them from worshipping.

Now that Trump's stormtroopers are doing it ... crickets
Here’s a story for every national news outlet:

In N.C., churchgoers are literally running into the woods as federal agents descend on the property.

“Inside the church, women and children sobbed as they wondered whether their loved ones had been taken.”

Before ACA, I regularly had patients who bought insurance they thought was "best for them". I've seen $50k annual max, $500k lifetime max, plans w/ no Rx coverage, plans *carving out* cancer treatment, plans that denied leukemia treatment because prior iron deficiency anemia was a pre-existing. /1

MAGA is VERY MUCH on the verge of pivoting from pedophile sex rings to “Jewish cabals” as the primary locus of their ire & violence. And yes I know they’ve always wrapped Jews up within their conspiracies but the desire to deflect from the Epstein Files could bring antisemitism FULLY to the fore.

It’s REALLY incumbent on knowledgeable people on the left to police this because a fringe of low-info antisemitic leftists could blow up in this sort of media environment. Calling out reductivist & eugenicist language & false equivalencies btwn the State of Israel & the Jewish people is essential.
i am more than a little worried that it's gonna horseshoe parts of the low-info left over exactly the worst issue

Protect Norman Rockwell from the hashtag retvrn creeps. His legacy is so much better than that.
65 years ago on Nov. 14, little Ruby Bridges was escorted into an all-white elementary school in New Orleans. Norman Rockwell, renowned for blissful depictions of Americana, did this remarkable painting for Look magazine. Printed as a double page, over-size spread, it's his masterpiece.

It really is sorta amazing. (I do not gotta hand it to her but I HAVE found, in my own anecdotal experience, that it’s often the worst-vibes weirdo who brings down the Bad Guy In Charge b/c the bad-vibes weirdo is myopic and obsessive enough to devote their entire life to that goal.)
*Marjorie Taylor Greene* being so sincerely anti-child sex abuse that she's willing to douse both her own political career and the president's in gasoline before tackling him into an open fire was actually not one I saw coming at all ngl

Absolutely incredible.
President Trump said he no longer supports Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is pushing for the release of the Epstein files.

Think of your favorite celebrity, whether they’re an actor, musician, athlete, whatever.

They’re probably pretty well-off, financially. But they are still closer to auctioning off their possessions to cover medical bills than they are to being a billionaire.

This is THE thing people still miss about MeToo. Even if you “take accountability” (which Platner did EXTREMELY begrudgingly while simultaneously critiquing his detractors) it does NOT MEAN you get EXTRA TREATS (money, power, status etc)! Sometimes accountability MEANS losing access to these things!
In what way does "allowing folks to redeem themselves" mean that the path of redemption *begins* by leapfrogging into a US Senate seat?

Why should those who have NOT done "abhorrent things," step aside from leadership, in order to make way for HIM to be one of the most powerful ppl in the world?
He could work in an org dedicated to getting men like him out of what he euphemistically calls "a bad place"🙄

He has no standing to be Senator

& yet w his background, & his zero experience he wholly believes he DESERVES it, as do his very recent followers because he repeats the Prog Bro buzzwords

No one asked to be born & use up resources, so keeping people alive with basic food, shelter, and medical care is a collective responsibility, irrespective of a person’s productive output.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Not since The Notebook have I seen this level of enraging fictional elder abuse.
This is possibly the most fucked thing I've ever seen but also the bit at the end where the grandmother is straight up being tricked into providing training content for the app feels particularly revealing.

Once again, it is a COMPLETE Centrist fiction that leftist candidates run on “identity politics” OVER economics, or that their focus on economics means they ESCHEW “identity” issues. Just a totally made up scenario from people who still can’t figure out why their message continues to be a losing one
does paul begala think that giving quotes characterizing another democrat like this *helps* the democratic party?
