The number of people whose PRIMARY argument with me (after the taken-on-faith “Israel has a right to exist” w/the implication that anything it does is justified by this assumption) was that the Palestinian death toll was fabricated to “turn public opinion against Israel”
I cannot tell you how much doubt was consistently directed at the Gaza Health Ministry’s casualty numbers and how much pressure was put on news organizations to couch those numbers as unreliable.

Getting rid of Miller would deescalate all this shit by like 90%. I’m not saying the 10% leftover is tolerable, but he’s the one level you can pull to make the biggest material impact here. No one else Trump could hire would be 1/5 as baldly cruel & vindictive.
