Sorry but we literally debunked this like last month when he did this dog whistle. Fintan O'Toole literally did the maths, in the Times no less, that showed that this isn't true.

Why are we bothering to publish such an obvious lie when we know it's a lie?

As American moves towards eliminating jus soli citizenship, a reminder that the people of Ireland voted to do the same

This resulted in precisely 0 benefits or opportunities accruing to existing Irish citizens

But it did let us be cruel to a bunch of kids, so who is to say if it was good or bad

I remember feeling silly and paranoid, saying that our horrific politicians and media outlets were engaged in a concerted effort to basically outlaw Palestinian solidarity. But that’s absolutely what they’ve done, both to harm the left and distract from their complicity in crimes against humanity.
There has been a relentless, cacophonous campaign to stigmatise pro-Palestinian activists. But the inconvenient truth is that these are just ordinary people of good conscience who see the horrors of Gaza and simply cannot bear to stand by and do nothing.

Jim O'Callaghan is a threat to our human rights protections.

Ireland has long been a champion and a beneficiary of the ECHR. Why is Jim O'Callaghan undoing that position? Why is he aligning us with UK? Who in government has okayed this?
Really glad to read this article by Liam Herrick on the apparent dramatic reversal of Ireland's approach to human rights protection last week by Jim O'Callaghan.

Did Cabinet sign off on him signing the Danish statement or was this a solo run by O'Callaghan?
