Interesting summary, but

I thought it was about historical responsibility (developed countries still not stepping up)

It was a remembrance for Hind Rajab, 6, who was killed while fleeing with her family from Gaza City two years ago.

The family came under fire from an Israeli tank and the other occupants of the car were killed, leaving the terrified child to spend hours on the phone with a Red Crescent dispatcher.
