A hill I will die on: I do not understand the obsession with frame rate in videogames, I can barely tell the difference and as long as the rate is consistent it has 0 impact on my enjoyment of the game

FF’s Mary Fitzpatrick has ruled herself out of the Dublin Central by-election. The senator, who has run in that constituency for the last five general elections, has written to FF members saying she wants to see out her term in the Seanad. Cabra-Glasnevin councillor John Stephens now likely to run.

These look like awful numbers for the government, and in many ways they are, but they also kind of aren't? I should probably write something longer on this. But we are nowhere near the levels of anger at gov (and crucially, support for SF) on housing we were at in '22-'23
