nothing

but it has led bosses to fire people leading to wrongly done work, messed up universities, wrecked any progress made on climate change goals, so your aunt can get wrong answers to unimportant questions for less than it cost the company to provide them

It's not just that their wages are too low, ... it's also that the jobs themselves have become increasingly volatile and precarious." – @brian-goldstone.bsky.social

Gabby was shot in the head in an act of political violence

Her husband retired from military service to care for her

She’s an advocate for gun control and he has been speaking out about disobeying illegal orders

Mike thinks it’s ok to insult both of them

"Don't follow illegal orders" would be more meaningful if Democrats had prosecuted literally any of the prominent war criminals of the last 30 years instead of, you know, fucking campaigning with them

Today is a good day to remind you that I have lots of cool things for sale through my Etsy shop. LoTR subway maps, landscape drawings, & more.

Like this squirrel, or a grumpy raven! They looks great on a coffee cup, or as a print.

Who doesn't love a Christmas raven?

I think the biggest thing we need to get our head around is that the modern America right uses whatever phrases they think will be most acceptable to conceal a profoundly anti-freedom, authoritarian, racist, sexist and homophobic agenda.

The vibe shift today is, I think, due to the fact that New Yorkers were on the offensive instead of the defensive.

Usually with protests, demonstrators have to defend the space, defend their right to march, etc. They get beat up and pushed around and antagonized into chaos and trauma.

It captures, in the simplest and starkest terms, the brutal arithmetic driving this country's homelessness catastrophe.

Basically: the reason why so many rightwing chuds are pedophiles, is that pedophiles are very, very good at spotting the people they need to both enable and protect them.

They choose a parasocial audience they know they will be able to manipulate into defending them.

If a student’s reaction to assigned material is “I reject the assigned material outright as a matter of personal belief,” the response should be “we respect your beliefs so much that we’re unenrolling you from this class to make room for a student interested in engaging with the subject.”
