This is a really interesting read and I'm beyond furious that public health officials in my state and country didn't bother to investigate the likelest infection vector that even my agriculturally and medically ignorant ass clocked at the time

a new study finds that there is enough microplastic in your nads to make a little army guy. whats worse is that its the guy with the radio so he doesnt even have a gun. and he has a bunch of extra plastic along the seam on the bottom so he keeps falling over.

I will say again that it has been just *beyond* hammered home for me that not only do we not live in a meritocracy, we live in an economic and sociopolitical order that actively rewards avarice, incompetence, unkindness, dishonesty.
And tbh that makes me feel better about my lack of success.
