Delroy Lindo is on a long list of actors long overdue for an Oscar nomination. He might finally break that ceiling with his role in Sinners. We caught up to talk about Ryan Coogler's "brilliant" epic, and, as always, he has some keen observations to share

Delroy Lindo already deserved an Oscar nomination. He might finally get one for his role as Delta Slim in Ryan Coogler's Sinners.

Learning how to threat model and then knowledgeably apply remediation strategies is tricky business. We're good at it, and this year, we spent a lot of time helping others navigate their operations security goals. eff.org/deeplinks/2...

Reminder that years ago it was found out that the FBI straight up made up a whole bunch of fake forensic sciences, plural. People have gone to jail and been executed due to literally pseudoscience.

Hair forensics, for instance, is totally nonsense.

They admitted it.

Hello repro writers from the mid to late 20 teens - I just discovered Cosmopolitan at some point pulled almost every politics/repro story from the 5 years I wrote for them offline (except two, which they put under someone else's name and gave me "additional reporting" which it very much was not)

[screaming at the top of my lungs, once again] the fundamental technology of humanity is care
We didn't survive and thrive as a species because we had warriors or hunters - pretty much every omnivore can manage that.

We did so because we developed Grandmothers, and domesticated Dogs.

Community is what defines us as a species, and every "self-reliant" libertarian shitweasel be damned.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Propaganda, transphobia, and an end to manufacturing hate.

If you only watch one TikTok this year, make it Andrea Pitzer discussing how soaking in hate can change a society, which is why authoritarians always do it.

“Then they shouldn’t have voted for this!”

Bitch, Asheville is a blue college town and the county has gone blue for decades. I am so sick of this “if I pretend disasters only happen to red areas, it means I’m safe because I’m properly on the left!” No. You’re not safe. That’s why we save everybody.

You might wonder why Imran Ahmed and the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) suddenly became targets of the U.S. government. The honest answer is that their research hit where it hurt.
