Here, read a lovely story for a minute or two.

“This is gonna be shocking for some of us, as to what this all means. But this is where we invite God’s Holy Spirit to grant us grace and peace.”

COVID isn’t acting like the viruses most of us grew up with, and treating it like “just a cold” is putting people at real risk. David Brasure breaks down why SARS-CoV-2 is fundamentally different, how it causes long-term damage, and what we can do to protect ourselves.

Holiday gatherings can be really hard for autistic kids and adults.

And the reasons why aren’t always obvious.

So please use and share our guide to helping autistics avoid
meltdown triggers. At TPGA:

My wonderful spouse
Living near my best friend for the first time in 15 years
My fur-covered children
Best boss I've ever had and a job that pays a good wage
All the people who have risen up to make the country better
Trans people, who show what it means to live authentically despite the risks
What are you grateful for?

My short list includes:
My health.
The ability to have a job that I love.
My kids, parents, husband being together this holiday.
The fact that I know there are LOTS of people trying to do good in the world.
The fact that the world keeps turning. 🙏

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

This is my plan, but I put it in the crockpot with orange peel, and a satchel of crushed cinnamon stick and coriander seeds. And I put brandy, bourbon and rum bottles next to it so people can imbibe as they please!
I am not a big party-thrower, but when I do, if it's fall or winter, I put a pot of warm cider on the stove. It makes the whole house smell great, and people gravitate to it like crazy. You can put some whiskey next to it and tell people to spike as they please.
I do not drink because I have almost no tolerance for it anymore (one margarita is too much).

If you are hosting a party, I recommend also stocking:
-fancy ginger beer
-coconut water
-premium juices like lychee and guava
-apple cider with cinnamon
-Italian sodas
-sparkling water

Lots of options!
