I tried to get my parents to talk about it and they wouldn't do it. With that said, when my daddy died, he had successor's names and emails listed for utilities, life insurance intact, and no fundraiser needed. Folks gave us money but I gave it to my brothers for their travel expenses. Have a plan.

I'm legit asking this in good faith; is there any LEGAL difference between a minor and a child?
I have heard some legal documents refer to individuals as "the minor child" so I'm legitimately curious and hope someone with some legal expertise can clarify.
