Wolves reduce livestock losses.

You read that right
Wolves reduce livestock losses.

By controlling coyote numbers (coyotes are responsible for 60% of all livestock losses) Wolves (responsible for 1/4 of 1%) actually help farmers and ranchers.

Finally about to do something I’ve been dreading for over a month so I’ve procrastinated. Watch it not even be as bad as I’m expecting. Either way I have a fun activity planned for this evening to make me feel better.

The President is lying to the public:

1) For the past century, the federal government has been responsible for the Potomac Interceptor – not Maryland. The sewage pipe is on federal land.

Samba and literature rarely share the same stage but at this year’s Carnival in Rio, two samba schools used their parades to amplify Black Brazilian female authors. It’s an unusual recognition of writers historically marginalized due to their race and gender. #BlackskyNews

Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate🧧

The last Year of the Fire Horse began in '66 & saw anti-war protests & civil rights struggle. It was the year Rev. Jackson left seminary to join Dr. King’s Freedom Movement.

May 2026 bring New York the same bold change people deserve.
