I watched that Ralph Lauren documentary recently, and there's a reason the Lo Lifes were not only never STOPPED, but why their grown asses were IN THE DOCUMENTARY. Because even back then, Ralph knew it was cheaper to let them steal and rock his shit than to pay for that advertising.

an easy way to understand this is that people make clothes cool and not the other way around. so our judgement of what looks "good" is often shaped by the cultural capital of various social groups. punks, skaters, hip hop heads, etc look stylish simply bc they are cool. thus money is not a barrier.

once you hit 30, you really need to have a close relationship with your primary care doctor & those labs.
Nothing motivates you to get in gear physically like getting blood work done.
