The news that Lethbridge police got away with stalking, harassing and threatening Phillips because the chance of conviction was too low is an indictment of the entire justice system in Alberta.

Whatever else is in the deal, agreeing to merely have a vote on ACA is a fig leaf. Even if it passes the Senate, it won't in the House, which also makes it an easy yes vote for the Senate Rs who might want to, defusing it as an attack on them.

I am in the airport in Ottawa, quietly waiting and hoping my flight fir the UK will be able to take off (snow!). And I went to the washroom and was delighted to wee that the feminine hygiene products were free. That has been a welcome and *huge* change in my lifetime.
