We watched Greenland the other day and noticed some parallels to The Last of Us. One scene was really extremely close to the source material: remember the moment Joel refuses to pick up needy people on the side of the road? I'm curious to see if there will be even more parallels in Greenland 2.

Good video by @fynnalist.bsky.social. He gets right to the heart of the matter here with many well-placed points. One could go into much more detail, or expand on certain points further, but the perspective of a non-illustrator (I assume) is also very interesting.

We played Deep Regrets last night until 3:30 in the morning, and I don't regret a thing!!!! It's different from Dredge, but you immediately feel at home. Really awesome game mechanics, ideas, and great illustrations. Fantastic game by @tettix.bsky.social 🎣💚

Fantastic video by Pam Walls on the increasing use of AI in board games, and the need (more than ever) to support artists, illustrators and graphic designers in the industry.

I just dreamt I was working on a GitS production under Moebius, and he not only took the time to correct my sketches with a pencil, but later, after work, we sketched other ppl together while we talked. Took a photo of him with my sketchbook, and I already knew then it would be gone when I woke up.🥲

Someday I'll have to publish my "they sleep" portrait sketchbooks. They're several sketchbooks filled with unsuspecting passengers, 99% of them asleep, with their eyes open or closed, created during the seven years I had to commute to work. Sometimes I forget how interesting those faces really were.

I can relate to that. During the time I had to commute to the studio, I sketched different train passengers every morning/evening. With a ballpoint pen. You can choose any line thickness, from wafer-thin and delicate to opaque and bold. For a long time, the ballpoint pen was my first choice.

Some ballpoint pen sketches from recent years. Buana Vista Social Club sketch is from 2000, I was 15 years old.

Plur1bus is so visually satisfying! Even without the exciting plot, the well-written characters, the dark humor, and the believable drama... the compositions and transitions would probably entertain me enough on their own. Looking forward to season 2! 💛

Glad to see that.

It's both frightening and interesting to see how US YouTube ads, when viewed via VPN, at certain times only fire off AI agenda advertisements. Frightening because they're soulless, lifeless, and devoid of content. Interesting because it seems like nothing is advertising nothing.
New York passes law requiring ads to disclose if AI actors are in it

They've also banned deepfakes of deceased performers without their estate’s consent

Catching up on everything that was shown at the game awards. There's a lot of cool stuff in the making, but if I'd to pick only four, it'll be this list. Really looking forward to play these. 😊❤️
