These are drawings I've done playing TTRPGs.

Are they shit?

Yes.

Are they the greatest achievements in all of human artistic endeavour?

Also yes.

So there we have it.

This may sound beyond the realms of reality but: the NHS puberty blockers trial is being run by a cabal of transphobic cranks.

SEGM has been publicly spurned by multiple medical authorities as outside the mainstream, and as not a credible scientific organisation.
The puberty blocker trial is about to start according to the BBC, led by Dr Emily Simonoff. The same Dr who spoke at a symposium organised by Segm, a group designated an anti trans hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Centre /1

I remember my son having to answer questions about how he felt about his ovaries and cervix!!?? 😖

I mean WTAF!!!

As a cis woman I have NEVER had to answer questions like that! It’s just TOTALLY irrelevant! 😣

These kids are just lab rats that the transphobes don’t care about!

Cis people, how many times have you been asked to describe how you masturbate, and what you think about when you do, to access healthcare on the NHS?

I take meds every single day to get rid of the symptoms of my "neurodivergence." I wish I could experience the positive symptoms of my "mental illness" without the negatives and have in the past gone off my meds in order to do so. who would I be without either? hell if I know. it's NOT that easy

already had somebody argue that neurodivergence = good and mental illness = bad; oh if ONLY it were so simple lol. I promise you as somebody with both ADHD and bipolar: it is not
(full disclosure i think the "distinction" between neurodivergence and many mental illnesses--particularly bipolar and schizophrenia--is nonsense on every level. but i try to use the most accepted language, which argues that they're different things despite having zero evidence to support it haha)

4/ “The purpose of this provision is to enable a person
who has gender reassigned to have all the protection of the Sex Discrimination Act and Equal Pay Act.”

This directly contradicts the Supreme Court’s position that gender reassignment does not change sex. For the purposes of equality, it does.

3/ “For example, it is envisaged that the provision would allow a
suitably qualified male to female transsexual to be able to take up employment in a single sex women's hospital. They could themselves be treated as a comparator by a male applicant.”

This shows, quite bluntly, the EHRC is wrong.

2/ The instructions are just… fascinating? Well, every piece of public record I’ve uncovered on this subject so far has been fascinating, but this paragraph is exceptional.

It contradicts the Supreme Court directly, comprehensively, and unequivocally.

This is chapter and verse for how and why the Supreme Court judgement is bad law. Not just because of the EA or the GRA or basic human decency or the ECHR or Goodwin Vs UK, but because of law laid down in the late 90s.

far and away my most hated software trend of the last 3 years is bundling old, useful features alongside LLM horseshit i don't want and putting them all under one fucking setting.

gmail now has gemini tied directly to their existing email categorization feature! can't have one without the other!

FYI: turning off "Smart features" also turns off spell check and the promotions and social tabs. And more.

In effect, a lot of traditional tools in gmail are switched off if you don't let them upload your contracts, love notes, and sad messages to your friends into their plagiarism machine.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
