Mum & I went to get up close and personal with the David Bowie collection at V&A East, truly magical to be able to go and actually interact with them

Prepping for the MRI means I had to spend 20 minutes soaping off this chain ring I haven’t removed in 5 years… surprised my finger didn’t fall off!
A hand with a silver chain ring around the fourth finger. The same hand without the ring. There are deep indentations where the links of the chain have dug into the flesh. The ringless hand from the other side. The indents look like two rows of circular pits stamped around the base of the finger.

Nipped down to the library to renew my card and was pleasantly surprised to see my childhood flat as one of the design options. Love it when Trellick Tower shows up in the wild

Page from an old guidebook to the Gower peninsula in Wales that reads: MUMBLES (from Fr. mamelles = breasts). Prominent twin limestone islets making western extremity of Swansea Bay. Both accessible at low water, but watch the tide! On the outer islet are the lighthouse, built in 1793, and a coast defence fort of 1861. Mumbles Pier is nearby, from which pleasure steamers depart in season. Name is given nowadays to the whole of this end of Swansea Bay.

Three Cliffs Bay in Wales. Blue sky is peeking through white clouds, the distant sandy beach is framed on either side by steep rolling hills. A few people are picking their way through wide streams and rockpools towards the sea.
