I’ll definitely be in court tomorrow, but we probably won’t be able to live tweet unless the judge has changed their mind. I will take notes tho.
Last time I provided commentary, the Sex Matters goons used it to refine their case, so I won’t be making any.

I actually tend to agree with Charlotte.
As a trans woman who worked in tech policy and spent a decade challenging this kind of policy (until I left Google 🫢), I think the idea is good.
The key, however, as we experts have pointed out, is to have per-device parental control.

And how do those children typically access the media they've been radicalised by? 🤔
Measures like this are not intended *instead of* measures to keep trans kids and adults safer, but they're not at odds with those objectives either.

I‘m at a Green Party Women’s Committee online meeting, but I’m physically at a train station, so I haven’t been able to listen properly. It sounds like a member who was previously expelled from the Party has had her penalty reduced, rejoined, and has just been co-opted back onto the committee.

I think a major part of the institutional problem with the judiciary’s version of trans broken leg syndrome is that Parliament keeps making laws, and the courts keep discovering ways around them.

I reject the attempts to blame individual or specific judges for these issues. The 'enemies of the people' narrative is appalling. But if we are to restore public faith in the judiciary, especially among marginalised groups, we must address the structural prejudices within our institutions.

Honestly terrifying that the BBC can run an unhinged story about lesbians being forced to have sex with trans women, with one of the main sources being a rapist who responded to the story's publication by calling for trans people to all be hung, and the Official Consensus is they are too pro-trans
