So yes! I'm not spending my time on Twitter any more! You are all I really have left! So here is my creative output!

House to Astonish! It's the ninth longest running comics podcast in the world, a fact I find motivational and somehow also very funny! housetoastonish.com
This is true. I quit Twitter this afternoon and basically nobody gives a shit, and that's the healthy way for people to be, quite frankly

the weird thing about being on the internet is nobody really notices when you disappear cause there’s always enough stuff to fill the timeline. i’m overstating it but it’s partially true. there’s nonzero count of people you forgot about because they stopped posting or deactivated

Regina Spektor. That run from Soviet Kitsch to Far were such big albums for me that it made it a real wrench when I started to become aware of her views on Gaza
Question for the Skyline: What was your HARDEST "cancel"?? Like the actor/singer/athlete that was the hardest to drop.

I feel like it's always people I don't fw getting canceled so it's never really a loss.

The hardest one was maybe TI because I actually liked multiple albums by him.

Nostalgia for the years before the global financial crisis is like Wile E. Coyote wanting to go back to the moment after he'd run off the cliff but before he started falling.

I know there's a more fundamental issue to be dealt with, but I really think Marvel would give off a more competitive vibe as against DC right now if they used proper paper stock for their covers. What they're doing now is like something you would get through your letterbox filled with coupons

If there's one group of people who should know to use alt text on their images, it's Transformers posters, and barely any of them do. You might show me a picture of a handsome robot, but unless you actually tell me it's Cybershock Leo Magnus (Sam's Club Colour Version) I'm just going to scroll past

If you're in the Lothian region, my friend @katenevens.bsky.social is a list candidate for the Scottish Green Party. She's one of the best people I know and an utterly tireless fighter for the vulnerable. Having her as an MSP would be a great thing. Please register to vote (and then vote)!
The UK version of “Project 2025” by the Reform party includes a British ICE, a concentration camp for 24,000 people, mass surveillance and withdrawing from refugee, anti-torture and anti-trafficking conventions.

It’s on their website. That’s how comfortable fascists are in the UK today.

a not insignificant number of people on Threads seem to believe the snow storm was The Government's attempt to refreeze the Leviathan, the world-eating serpent, which was getting loose (to eat the world, I assume)

One of the absolute very best to ever draw Spidey
Sal Buscema turns 90 today. There's hardly a Marvel character Sal hasn't left his mark on, from Cap to the Hulk, Avengers to Thor. Working with Sal for two years on Spectacular Spider-Man remains a highlight of my career. And the best part? He's not just a great artist, he's a truly good guy.
