This is me. I'm white, with brown hair and a big beard. Greying hair on my temples and beard though. I'm wearing a black denim jacket with various patches and pins on it, and I'm giving the heavy metal devil horns sign with my right hand. I'm also wearing glasses. Behind me are shelves full of video games and various figurines A screengrab from one of my screens. I'm in the top left, pissing myself laughing, at what? It's not clear. We need to have a serious talk about the way "AI companion" apps not only prey on the vulnerable, but are priming their users to ignore consent and to conflate love with control.

We need AI regulations across so many sectors, but this area is particularly horrifying.
