Pixar designed Toy Story to be printed on physical film. The Disney renaissance movies were the same.

Today, it's hard to see them as they were meant to be seen. The versions on streaming and home media aren't quite the same films that ruled the '90s:

This really isn't the first dodgy @BBC edit but it's certainly the one that counts because delegitimising striking miners in 1984 or undermining Corbyn in 2019 apparently don't matter. Some thoughts for @LRB blog www.lrb.co.uk/blog/2025/no...

Last RT re. Cardiff Halloween Festival: thing is, there are loads of people in South Wales who, if you give them the chance to pay £5 for a very average burger, will be all "Ambassador, you are spoiling us!" So I'm not greatly surprised someone can get away with this.

Mildly surprised - before I even saw this - that Labour MPs hadn't been whipped to support it.
I’m told Labour MPs have been told by whips to *abstain* in the vote on Nigel Farage’s ten-min rule bill on leaving the ECHR, which has left some furious. Whips’ arguments seems to be to just ignore it. Labour MPs worry it leaves Lib Dems/Greens looking like only they care on this.

It ought to be possible to visit the shopping area of a major city and buy a specific but mainstream model of rollerball pen and a pair of drum rod sticks but no. Back to eBay. Thanks Cardiff, you've been hopeless as usual.

There’s something really disturbing to me about the way the media, and indeed her own mother, continue to talk about Brianna Ghey - a constant focus on publicising her mental health, as if she’d committed suicide, and never focusing on the transphobia that actually led to her horrific murder.

Your reminder that the British justice system eventually admitted that the Hillsborough victims had been unlawfully killed, but then decided that somehow the man responsible, David Duckenfield, was innocent.
Much like Hillsborough, you have to marvel at how Britain as a system is so utterly impervious to accountability: decades of orchestrated bullshit, legal shenanigans and institutional roadblocks, and then one final great rasping fart of “maybe it was elves that did it, and fuck you”.
