When I watched "Possum" I was like my god this is so oppressive, and then I watched The Crown and I realized it wasnt the horrific interminable puppet that was symbolic of childhood abuse and the inescapability of harm, it was England that was putting me at unease

Heya!
Our comic has been out as a digital pdf for the entire weekend. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who is tipping even double the price we were asking; it means the world.

Since we are just 2 guys with a dream, consider telling us what you think directly, or via comment or review!

Do you think I’d explain my masterstroke if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome? I made the NYPD woke 35 minutes ago.

NSR is when a game itself is gay, OSR is when the people playing it are trans.

If a Cis person plays an OSR game it is a retro-clone.

If an NSR game isn't inherently gay- yes it is.

Hope that helps sorting things out!

we have gone from a world in which we were told not to cite wikipedia because it was unreliable to a world where wikipedia might be the only reliable source left on the internet and we all owe a lot to the pedantic nerds who got us there
for all people mock it wikipedia is genuinely one of the wonders of the modern world

another reason Dems can't build an antifascist coalition is because they're already part of the fascist coalition. This is an incredibly common pattern for the second party in a late capitalist two-party system, which always seem to simply become a racheting engine of fascism with two factions
The orgy of liberal pundits tripping over each other to praise Charlie Kirk—when he caused so much violence to the lives of Black and LGBTQ people (including me specifically)—is telling about why the Dems can’t build an antifascist coalition.

With regard to the hagiography, pundits are trying to manifest a culture in which shooting one of them is completely off limits via articles and posting.

That doesn't actually work but it explains the fervent insistence that there's a normal political culture that Kirk was a part of

Barrack Obama, DNC leaders etc are going to publicly cry a lot more about this violence than they ever have about any snipers, bombings or lynchings in Gaza.

“Violence has no place in America!” they will say, on their way to the Raytheon shareholders meeting.

As always, the proof that AI will have no lasting impact on the arts is that it has produced nothing of value. It has been used in the creation of nothing of value.

It has nothing to offer the pursuit of beauty and understanding.

The next unit of SHELVED BY GENRE is here: from now through when 2025 restarts at the end of the year, we're taking a long but not exhaustive look at "Alan Moore qua Alan Moore"—some early and later work, some major and some more marginal, all geared toward contemplating This Guy and His Deal.

I'm happy to be writing anthropology-stuff again for #ZephyrRPG :))) this is gonna be a really cool baseline for the fishing mechanic.

I think we’re on the cusp of mass attempts to automate teaching, and I also think it is going to be a massive wasteful failure in ways that will make the “learning loss” of the pandemic look like a speed bump next to a mountain.
