Caves of Qud releasing on Switch reminded me I need to play the game more, so fired it up on the steam deck again. I keep forgetting just how good the controls are for... controllers. Like how? It's a roguelike? Makes no sense, but works amazingly.

seems like no support emergencies popped up! few things to look at (uncommon crashes and ui issues) for upcoming patching, but pretty good result I think!

A smattering of crash reports but I can't tell at all if it's out of 30 CCU (terrible!!) 500 CCU (some kind of normal BS) or 10000 (totally average hardware failure likely). Hate it!!

“multi-arm mutations don’t accommodate firearms” there is simply nothing like Caves of Qud
- Use the Look function (move the right stick) regularly
- Trade items buy/sell for the same amount and weigh less than water (your money)
- Multi-arm mutations don't accommodate firearms
- Sometimes running away is better
- Clean your gear (and self) regularly
- Do NOT underestimate baboons

Thankfully the video games industry pre-collapsed so there’ll be no games to upgrade your PC for.
I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.
