People in the UK aren't getting transphobia from weird niche online communities.

They're getting it from the prime minister, the BBC, politicians and the newspapers in every newsagents in the country.
when this piece of shit is asked what good phone pouches are supposed to do, shs responds glibly about online radicalisation. where else would children learn to be transphobic in the tolerant UK, after all? ridiculous
On Brianna's 19th birthday, this morning I joined @cheshirepcc.bsky.social and the Brianna Ghey Legacy Project Phone Free Education campaign at the launch at Jodrell Bank of a new £150k initiative to make Cheshire the first county in the UK where ALL state high schools have lockable phone pouches.

I'm sorry, but all of these people who can't figure out how to continue a franchise after seeing the main character die would be floored by Aeon Flux.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

This is obviously secondary to the fact that Brianna Ghey's murder has basically zero link to phones in schools and this measure will do nothing to stop radicalisation in a country saturated in transphobia, but who are they going to be buying all of these phone pouches from?

But how did a lounge from Alabama's second biggest city end up at a DC airport?
A mobile lounge carrying passengers crashed at Washington Dulles International Airport on Monday, injuring more than a dozen people and causing some damage to the terminal.

There should be more funding in education against transphobic bullying and trans safe spaces in schools in Brianna’s name. But with slow push to bring back section 28 they stuck the response to her murder onto a school policy they had planned already

At this point I do sincerely believe this anti phone and social media drive is rooted in the "social contagion" idea of being trans. They do not think she died because she used her phone, they think she died because people in her phone convinced her she was a girl.

So it turns out both sides of that fucking interview were A-okay with abusing children!

It’s so so so weird and frankly sickening how Brianna Ghey’s legacy has become about banning phones in school, a thing that has absolutely nothing to do with her murder

The point of transition isn’t to become an uwu beautiful uwu lady or hunk of a man (it’s nice if that happens tho). The life of an ugly and Whole woman is worth living. It is misogyny to believe that only the life of a beautiful woman is worth living. You have to become Whole.

It's good that the cap is being lifted.

But it could have been lifted in July 2024.
It should have been lifted in July 2024.
Because it wasn't lifted in July 2024, people have suffered, and some might be dealing with the consequences for the rest of their lives.

Since Brianna's community online were the ones that supported her, and it was in-person transphobic bullies that stabbed her to death, is the implication here:

"If she wasn't on her phone during school, should wouldn't have decided to be trans."?

Is that what this mother is saying???
