I have a very shiny head that now reflects a calmer place. Bigots can still fuck right off though. He/Him
I'll get started on the show trials.

Does anyone have one of those ticket dispensers they used to have at Clarks?

It would appear that he's missed the deadline for filing in the UK for a defamation suit, which is one year after broadcast/publishing.

almost like the controversy has been manufactured to kill the BBC, though by fuck does it deserve it.

Of course the best way it could be made gooder is if Dr Luke suddenly dropped dead.

It is, but it happened at a point when the British public isn't nearly as transphobic as the British elite (not saying that the British public are good on trans issues, mind. They're just better than our betters). That meant there was still a public outcry because a teenage girl was murdered.

While it's natural for one to hang a little lower than the other, them being that different in size is probably grounds for you to go see a doctor, just to be safe.

[Barney in the B-Sharps episode of The Simpsons voice] I like it!

So we need a new November holiday, then.

What's happened in November that's worth celebrating?
November 11, 2025 at 12:17 PM
So they have the next James Bond played by Mandy Patinkin!

It's so obvious!

Bond, meanwhile reacted so harshly to just a teeny little bit of introspection that it might as well have jammed an epi-pen in its thigh.
"No thank you, we're allergic to that."

The bourne series, while still falling on 'surveillance state bad', definitely bends towards 'but maybe we need a little bit of surveillance state, with proper oversight' in the sequels.

The first Bourne film was released in june 2002, and was written pre-9/11. It was supposed to actually release in September 2001, but was pushed back due to re-shoots.

Quantum of Solace actually has a tiny kernel of criticism of British foreign policy, which might be because of a writer's strike.

I'm sorry, but some bloke dying in a bungee jump accident is just the price we have to pay for a healthy society
November 11, 2025 at 11:16 AM
It might be worth looking into, is all.

(Also, in the name of fairness I must point out that Charlotte Nichols is the first Labour MP I've seen use alt text when uploading images in quite some time. I think she's using a trans girl's murder to pursue her own agenda, but she's doing so accessibly)

Some exec "we need to ensure that this children's cartoon involves all the classic elements of the James Bond films of the 60s. Like the yellowface, for example.

The guy on the right is the most racist character design I've seen in a minute.

And this premiered in 1991?!

Opening credits, I mean
November 11, 2025 at 10:19 AM
Like, wasn't Craig's first film a reboot? It showed him getting 00 status before the credits.
