at one point, i watched a cook county sheriff’s officer (who appears to be in charge) point out a priest in the crowd.

All I want to come from this is a decision that, albeit briefly and before SCOTUS is forced to intervene, makes it legal to throw harmless sandwiches as a federal agent's ballistic vest.

If Mamdani wins I will leave New York. I will go live in one of the other 5 houses I have, perhaps the one in South Florida, or the one in Paris, or Napa, or Cabo, but I will definitely leave New York. I will keep my apartment, though, because it's awesome and New York is great. But I will leave.

Very weird to see the president dismantling rule of law and free trade while picking winners and losers in the market, and have a public freakout over a mayoral candidate proposing free busses.
If it doesn't work, and spends a lot of money for little benefit, reverse the bus policy. Not a big deal.
