As an Eagle Scout, let me say this is an opportunity for Scouting America to stop having a partnership with the U.S. Military.
Breaking news: The Pentagon issued a warning to Scouting America, formerly known as the Boy Scouts, saying the organization risks losing its long-standing partnership with the U.S. military unless it rapidly implements “core value reforms.”

Immigration is a fake problem. We have politicians on the one hand who want to use immigrants as scapegoats for our real ones and politicians on the other who are too cowardly to stand against them and tell the truth. That is the entire situation. Until that changes, people will continue to die.

I hope @murray.senate.gov is getting an earful today because she deserves it. We see you! It is a hard no and it isn’t close. No one is impressed with body cams and training. That is nota meaningful concession or guardrail. Light up her phone lines everyone.

I don’t espouse the power of “the bully pulpit” but tone matters. The dems do not have many parliamentary options but they could at very least stop reflecting back an air of relative normalcy. It is making actual normal people feel crazy which makes it easier for us to be painted that way.
