Proudly serving the Massachusetts 7th.
Trump's bombing of Venezuela, kidnapping of Maduro & attempt to run the country are brazen violations of our Constitution & int'l law.

It will endanger US lives, destabilize the region, & cost us billions of dollars.

Congress must stop this endless war & hold Trump accountable.

My report makes it plain: Trump has used his pardon power to reward political allies, corporations, & insurrectionists—ignoring the people who need it most.

He must change course and prioritize clemency for people directly harmed by mass incarceration & systemic injustice.
Rep. Ayanna Pressley releases report showing Trump clemencies mostly benefited the white and wealthy
U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley released a first-of-its-kind analysis report on President Donald Trump's clemency actions since entering office in January.

Happy Haitian Independence Day! 🇭🇹

As Haiti Caucus Co-Chair, I'm proud that such a vibrant Haitian community calls the #MA7 home.

I'm grateful for their contributions, their unbreakable spirit, & everything they do to make our district and country better.

Happy New Year, #MA7!

It may be a new year, but our priorities and work together won't change.

A more just, equitable America is possible.

In a year where Trump attacked everything but the cost of living, we used every tool available to fight back.

We led 20 pieces of legislation & sent dozens of Congressional letters to demand Republicans change course, & advance our vision for a better future.

Here are a few:

Trump must prioritize clemency for people directly harmed by mass incarceration.

Together, we rejected Trump's cruel attacks on our community members.

We stood up, fought back & showed what community really looks like.

From bringing Rümeysa Öztürk & Paul Dama home to advocating for the Allston carwash workers—we'll keep holding this White House accountable.

We’ve secured millions in federal funding for the #MA7, and saw many of those projects come to life in 2025.

We helped expand digital literacy programs, invest in childcare & education programming, and open the doors of a new state-of-the-art community health center.

Housing is health, dignity, stability, & community.

That's why I'm proud to see my Eviction Helpline Act & Helping More Families Save Act pass out of committee.

Congress must pass these bills without delay, & we must keep fighting to affirm housing as the human right it is.

In 2025, my office conducted high-impact constituent services year-round.

We supported hundreds of constituent cases—helping folks with passport renewals, tax refunds, housing & more.

And we responded to thousands of constituent letters & held nearly 200 events in the district.

Happy #Kwanzaa to everyone celebrating in the #MA7 and honoring the seven principles:

—Unity
—Self-Determination
—Collective Responsibility
—Cooperative Economics
—Purpose
—Creativity
—Faith

How are you observing Kwanzaa this holiday season?

Trump's attacks on our Smithsonian museums undermine its mission to provide an accurate picture of our history—not a censored, whitewashed version.

@reppaultonko.bsky.social & I met with Smithsonian Secretary Bunch III on how to defend our museums and safeguard our shared history.

From our family to yours, wishing you and your loved ones a Christmas holiday full of joy, love, rest, and community.

Merry Christmas, #MA7! It's an honor to be your Congresswoman.

As a former Congressional scheduler, I know the essential role schedulers play in keeping Congress running.

So it was a joy to meet with several of them and share my experiences and advice.

Thank you to Lona, my Director of Scheduling, and our scheduler tribe for everything you do!

Transgender people deserve the same chance to thrive and live fulfilling lives as everyone else.

Shame on Republicans for trying to strip away healthcare from vulnerable children.

And shame on anyone who votes to deny care to families trying to do right by their kids.

From Massachusetts to Minnesota, our Somali communities are strong and vibrant.

And no amount of hate from the occupant of the White House will change that.

Proud to stand in solidarity with our Somali siblings in Boston and let them know we’ve got their back.

Survivors deserve so much better.

Black unemployment is still soaring—a crisis for our communities and a red flag for the health of our economy.

@repyvetteclarke.bsky.social and I are requesting the Federal Reserve take action and deliver an urgent briefing to the Congressional Black Caucus about their efforts.
Reps. Pressley, Clarke demand 'immediate action' to address Black unemployment 'crisis' in letter to Fed chair
EXCLUSIVE: U.S. congresswomen demand that the Federal Reserve Board confront economic disparities hurting Black households.

Trump thinks complying with the law means releasing entirely redacted Epstein files like this.

This is a brazen cover up and deeply disrespectful to survivors.

Pam Bondi must release ALL the files NOW.
December 20, 2025 at 3:39 AM
Trump is violating federal law by blocking the release of the Epstein files—denying survivors the accountability they deserve.

By defying our subpoena & now Congress itself, this White House continues to shield powerful abusers and their enablers.
December 19, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Congress mandated that Trump's DOJ release all the Epstein files by TODAY.

They must comply.

Survivors have waited far too long for the accountability they deserve.
December 19, 2025 at 3:30 PM
We have the votes to extend the ACA subsidies and save healthcare for our constituents TODAY.

But Republicans would rather send Congress home, attack abortion care, & let premiums skyrocket.

The shame and sham of it all.

Speaker Johnson must bring this bill to the floor NOW.
December 19, 2025 at 1:43 AM
Healthcare is a human right.

Speaker Mike Johnson, the House is ready to vote to extend the ACA subsidies and save healthcare for millions.

Let’s get it done NOW — no games, no delays.
December 18, 2025 at 1:23 AM
🚨 BREAKING: We now have 218 signatures to force a vote to extend the ACA subsidies for 3 years.

Healthcare is a human right.

Speaker Johnson must bring this to a vote NOW.
December 17, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Today, I reviewed some of the classified Epstein files.

They were disturbing & hard to review—but even harder for survivors to have experienced.

The DOJ must follow the law & release the files, with protections for survivors.

Our march towards healing, transparency, & accountability continues.
