Hellfire and damnation upon everyone, EVERYONE involved in perpetuating this cycle of abuse. Parents, preachers, everyone. I can only hope the victims of this are safe and cared for and have the space to move forward as they are able to.
1/ It should be forgiven. It should be forgotten. If she spoke of it again, the sins would be hers, she was told.

But she could never forget. And neither could the other girls.

This is the story of how her church enabled a child abuser for years 👇

I get it folks. It’s the holiday season, things are tight, but Linda doesn’t make these kinds of requests for grins and giggles. I’m in for $50, can anyone else spare a dime?

I know times are tough all around, but if you’ve got a few bucks to spare, this is another great spot for them. I gave, I hope you’ll consider giving too.
those of us laid off from Teen Vogue were really fortunate to complete our fundraising goal — the laid-off staffers at VIBE deserve the same support, as Black media outlets and journalists continue to be targeted and discriminated against in “austerity” measures
It was announced on October 16, 2025 that VIBE was "joining forces" with Rolling Stone. As a result, the majority of VIBE employees were laid off. If you have the means to give, this team could use the support! www.gofundme.com/f/support-vi...

Absolute end of an era. Not having the Sonics anymore makes this hurt just that much more. RIP coach Wilkins, you will be missed.
RIP Lenny Wilkins, one of 5 in the Basketball HOF as both player and coach, and an all-around mensch. Before the Jazz came to Utah, I was a Sonics fan (born in Seattle); Wilkins led the team to the NBA Finals in 1978 and to a championship in '79. He was so cool

I’ve called my senators (Cantwell, Murray) this evening to urge them not to vote for any CR that does not contain ACA funding. Took just a couple of minutes. I urge you all to do the same, and to do it now.
this is why you gotta call your senators even if they aren’t part of the ‘cave’ group - we could still stop this if they realize they have to do this by themselves, with no cover from anyone else
6/ with all the political damage and opposition demoralization that goes with that. Also I suspect - though I can’t be sure - that the cave group probably isn’t ready to do this with no cover at all. Final point, I made crystal clear as march was unfolding that the whole thing was playacting.

Paramount Global, CBS, and 60 Minutes literally sold their credibility and their integrity for CEO bonuses and shareholder value. Trump rubbed their noses in their own shit last night and they sat there and took it, because the Press has been a collaborator with Trump from the beginning.

How, uh, shocking. Follow the money, just about every single time, and you’ll likely discover the motive for a cover-up.
Turns out the sweetheart deal that Trump's former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta gave Epstein back in 2008 was even worse than we thought. Epstein's emails show Acosta tanked an investigation that had Epstein dead to rights on money laundering, and other financial crimes.
🚨 EXPLOSIVE NEW investigation: We uncovered previously undisclosed details about an 18-month money laundering investigation into Jeffrey Epstein that took place alongside the 2007 sex crimes probe, according to emails obtained from Epstein's personal Yahoo account

No, Adam, it does not. Someone who wishes for my nonexistence is a fucking bigot and a fascist even if they dress it up in nicer words than the current fucking bigots and fascists. I am not acceptable collateral damage and neither is anyone else. We all get out together or we don't get out at all.

People don't need more evidence to conclude he's a white supremacist. Evidence isn't the issue here. The problem is convincing people that white supremacy is a threat rather than something they can elide and quietly benefit from without actually saying they like it.
Elon Musk is a white nationalist. Anyone who needs more data points to reach this conclusion is beyond help or persuasion.

If you buy, rent, service, or supercharge a Tesla you are supporting the most powerful white nationalist on earth. Period.
Musk is funding the legal battle of UK Far Right activist Tommy Robinson - real name Stephen Yaxley Lennon - as he faces charges brought by counterterrorism police.

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.
Lmao is this supposed to be a bad thing?

@ninedogs.bsky.social If we‘re gonna have organized religion, it ought to be doing a lot more of this, I think.
Chicago priest Fr. Larry Dowling describes procession to ICE facility: “No one had the courage to speak directly to us. No one from Homeland Security could stand in the presence of the Monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament. No wonder. Evil is repelled, recoils in the presence of Christ.”
