I’ve called my senators (Cantwell, Murray) this evening to urge them not to vote for any CR that does not contain ACA funding. Took just a couple of minutes. I urge you all to do the same, and to do it now.
this is why you gotta call your senators even if they aren’t part of the ‘cave’ group - we could still stop this if they realize they have to do this by themselves, with no cover from anyone else
6/ with all the political damage and opposition demoralization that goes with that. Also I suspect - though I can’t be sure - that the cave group probably isn’t ready to do this with no cover at all. Final point, I made crystal clear as march was unfolding that the whole thing was playacting.
