It is a morally and ethically correct decision to use lethal force as a means of defending yourself against ICE
An ICE agent shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis during an immigration-related operation, DHS says.

Here's the ICE agent "defending himself" by shooting into the driver's side window of a car that's pulling *away* from him.

Put this photo on the front page of every newspaper in America.

Ripping up a publication that has been around since the 1700s all because your workers asked to be given some dignity.

Hell ain’t hot enough for the Block Family.
Wow. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette will cease operations in May. The announcement from the wealthy Block family comes after SCOTUS refused to take up its appeal of a federal ruling requiring it to make changes to its union health plan.

Star Wars discourse on this site today is roughly as in touch with what's going on with Star Wars as discourse about Congressional Democrats is in touch with what's going on with the Congressional Democratic caucus

The American people electing Trump after he staged a coup attempt 5 years ago was a nail in the coffin of our democracy. You can rationalize it all you want - But inflation! But wokeness! - but ultimately it was a societal suicide attempt and probably the dumbest collective voting decision ever made

I would agree with this, and also add the people who whine the hardest about 'vote scolding' also want to have their tummy rubbed for voting for Jill Stein or abstaining. They put the issue in play when asking to have libs bend the knee and defer to their moral superiority.
I'm going to say it plainly: Vote scolding is good, vote shaming is good. You should be reminded that the choices you make have consequences especially if those consequences are dire. If you don't like people pointing out what your decisions lead to, try making good decisions.
Pretty fucking wild to see people in January 2026 whining about “vote scolding” to defend people who couldn’t get off their ass to vote against Trump. Whatever they thought of Harris, they can never honestly answer whether the world would be better if she’d won (lol of fucking course it would).

Brown: They are the "right leaders to guide us forward. ... We trust their plans and expect to return to our desired level of success."

Yeah, it has long been the case that adult-oriented businesses have to be careful or risk the wrath of everyone from prosecutors to payment-processing companies, but "prominent social media company owned by world's richest person swiftly became world's largest CSAM producer" produces no reaction.
Elon Musk chatbot repeatedly making CSAM on demand should be one of the single biggest stories right now and it's effectively a collective shrug instead

will say it again: if rodgers retires after the 2020 season, never says a thing about vaccines/cancel culture, and becomes the host of jeopardy, he goes down as maybe the most universally liked athlete of all time
I realize this is an unpopular sentiment because we all presumably want him to eat shit as a human, but the sports fan in me always finds the on-field endings of careers like Aaron Rodgers’ to be sad. instead of hanging it up after a good season, they hold on for a few more years and we see *this*

I mean except you didn't hire the exterminator. You, as in the American public of which you are a part, invited the cockroaches into your home and then proceeded to get mad at the exterminator you didn't hire for not getting rid of them.
the reason people sometimes act madder at democrats than republicans when republicans do impossibly evil shit is the same reason why, if you hired an exterminator to handle a roach infestation and he showed up to feed and play with them instead, your first instinct wouldn’t be to yell at the roaches

The "Do Something" crowd's solution to not having a majority is to cast a vote, and then wait until next election cycle for any consequence to actually be felt. This is an important step so they can complain that Dems aren't doing anything throughout that entire timeframe
You make them vote, you hold it against them when you run, you make life impossible, make them answer shitty questions for months. You act like you have some basic understanding of how media works.

It’s not really that complicated FFS.
