a major issue with video games is that they produce a bunch of people who consider themselves brain geniuses for solving problems that were designed to be solvable. as a remedy, we should be making more games that are actively and irreconcilably hostile to the player. thank you

One of the all-time best depictions of a Batman villain.

Ironically, the way he played the Riddler probably informed how other actors after him played the Joker.

I have been hearing from people that they have been having issues accessing their Social Security accounts. INSTEAD of going to a branch which may be hundreds or 1Ks+ of miles away from you, call your members of Congress. They have constituent services that will help you regain access. Please share!

Please take this seriously: If we get out of this alive, we literally need to push HARD for deep structural changes across law, policy, the judiciary, and the ways in which elected officials get coopted by donors. There is no other way to secure the future.

Stratification Economics guy here. Race is indeed a social construct & the US has used race to establish and maintain systems of power, privilege and disenfranchisement.

My research was meant to look at facially neutral laws and institutions that perpetuate racial inequality. But this is blatant.

It's not just that "every accusation is a confession"; it's also that every accusation is a RATIONALIZATION. The lie that the other side is rigging elections rationalizes vote suppression. The lie that legitimate investigations are "weaponizing government" is the excuse to weaponize government.

As a Portlander with family living in your district: you do not need to make these types of rhetorical concessions before you make your point. We’re not in high school debate class.
RFK Jr. is not wrong. We are failing to keep our communities healthy. This message resonates with many.

But I have serious concerns about his ability and expertise to lead such a sweeping overhaul of the HHS workforce. We need accountability, not just rhetoric.

If there are any history books 50 years from now, I hope they are all honest about how the right wing let its populist win after the opposition (the Democratic Party) crushed their populist twice, who, incidentally, would have fvcking won.
