my "we are not trampling human rights" NDAs have people asking a lot of questions conveniently unanswerable as a result of my NDAs
SCOOP: Tensions at Palantir have grown in recent weeks over the company's work with ICE.

On Friday, CEO Alex Karp tried to calm concerns in an hourlong video that offered few specifics—instead offering NDAs to workers who want to understand how it's empowering ICE.

Worth watching this in full. The statement is more powerful than this quote alone. Here is is from USA Today, with alt text.

Also! Rich Ruohonen is a personal injury lawyer and the oldest athlete to ever represent the United States in a Winter Games at 54 years old.

This seems really straightforward. An institution that will not agree and cannot be compelled to follow the law must be abolished. There's no other option
This is literally what CURRENT LAW requires. It’s in the Constitution! www.politico.com/news/2026/02...

"It's a competent loop of heist setup and escape execution. But even when I piloted Nomali through a flawless getaway, I found myself more interested in being able to return to the relooters' hideout to learn more about the game's 70 reclaimable artifacts and their very real histories."
Relooted is a fine heist game—but it's a better history lesson
Correcting dark historic wrongs can feel surprisingly bright.

Point of order for your point of order: While the train model appears on the head, it's equipped to a glove slot; that's why an equipped character's hand disappears. (On further investigation, when it appears in-game, it's not worn by an NPC at all but by the player.)

We went into more detail here:
Here's what's really powering Fallout 3's metro train
The truth? Even stranger than a train hat.

If you're gonna read any quote from an article on the game, let it be this one, because I think it sums up a lot of the feelings of fans pretty succintly

NEW: A federal judge in Oregon issued a sweeping rebuke of the Justice Department’s nationwide push to seize state voter rolls, ruling that the department can no longer be presumed to be acting in good faith and warning that its conduct threatens voters and states’ rights.

The judge pointed to a letter from Bondi to Minnesota that tied federal immigration enforcement to demands for voter data as the smoking gun.

I can only write pretty good and draw sorta okay because, as the son of a public school teacher and a mailman, I have only ever enjoyed the boundless privileges of the elite
I think the ability to create art without AI IS gatekeeping. It's also classist if you know the recipe to soup. And if you can tell the difference between a cat and a dog, it counts the same as hazing.
