Rosen picked the wrong example here. She should have picked 60 Minutes, which also edited Trump to make him look better. Then it would have been apples to apples.

Again, letting Carr off the hook by using a cable news example (not regulated by FCC) is a bad choice.
ROSEN: Will you commit to opening an investigation into Fox News for deceptively editing a Trump interview to make him look good during a presidential campaign?

CARR: No

"we were left an economic mess from the trump administration. employment in decline. factories closing. americans dead. my recovery act brought back the jobs. my inflation bill has factories -- clean factories -- employing millions. detroit is back -- and its green!" - shit biden could have said
I don’t recall hearing Biden or any Democrat with a microphone saying “we are climbing out of the recession and shortages that Trump left us” back in 2021. Their “strategy” was to not talk about Trump at all, insanely letting him push the narrative that his presidency ended in 2019.

This is the most milquetoast, awkward, stilted comment on an issue that demands actual passion. The House Dems badly need a different front man.

Maybe not a different minority leader - maybe he's great at managing the caucus and doing the other political work. But as a speaker this is terrible
Jeffries calls for video of the September 2 boat strikes to be released and asks, "if Hegseth and the administration think their actions are justifiable, what are they hiding from the American people?"

When a far right pundit on a CNN panel with me ‘joked’ about my beeper going off live on air & then got banned by CNN, Megyn Kelly had him on her show & they both laughed about it.

Yet here is Kelly getting super offended when someone else makes the beeper threat against her. Oh, the hypocrisy.

Not wrong, but no police were even close to being defunded.

Also, maybe not ACAB, but certainly MCAB.
ACAB and Defund The Police -- the two most destructive messaging efforts from sloganeers who don't actually want to fix a fucking thing and will, at every opportunity, alienate the entire electorate from actual police reform for the sheer pleasure of their own self-regarding purities.

Eat a dick.
Okay but ACAB includes David Simon.

Calm down, liberals. Donald Trump's demand that the DOJ pay him $230 in taxpayer dollars is just an opening bid in a negotiation. He's unlikely to walk away with more than $180 million. Feel silly now?

Q: How comfortable are you w/Trump seeking $230m from the DOJ?

MIKE JOHNSON: Uh, I don't know the details. I just read it. I know he believes he's owed that reimbursement. What I heard is that if receives it, he's gonna consider giving it to charity. They attack him for everything. *changes topic*

Also anyone who thinks my work is “reporting on other reporting” has clearly never read anything I’ve published.
The conversation is hilarious and Anna's article is fascinating. Anyone (like Lindsey) who doesn't think Anna is a "journalist" is extremely wrong about the nature of journalism. @404media.co does a lot of FOIA work and that is very much Journalism. Anna's reporting on other reporting is Journalism.
Lindsey Halligan says I’m not a journalist.

This is because conservatives have so little actual political irritations. Each one needs to last, and that's the whole job of RW media.
I'm generalizing, but why do conservatives remember political irritations for so much longer than liberals?

It's been 17 years since Obama said some voters "cling to their guns, to their religion" and I heard a senator denounce that last month.

Obvious theory: Media ecosystem puts it on repeat
