It’s wrong to lump all top Trump people in one category. There are differences among them. But they do seem to fall into three (sometimes overlapping) categories:

I can relate, as I was once a young man attracted to Orthodoxy, although not with the right-wing political orientation of the Orthobros. I craved certainty and stability. But now I consider apophaticism the best gift of that season while rejecting the ecclesial chauvinism.
