There are many villains among Republicans in their decade-long assault on democracy, but a key one is Kevin McCarthy, who helped rehabilitate Trump when Republicans temporarily grew a conscience and considered ostracizing him after the J6 coup attempt. We'll need Nuremberg-stye trials after this.
