Queer Quaker, Christian socialist, proud Minnesotan, bit of an eccentric.
This speaks to my condition.

This is why many Quakers believe that Christ is the Word of God, not the Bible.

This speaks to my condition. I’ve never gotten much from donating money - I want to be involved.

At Meeting this morning, I felt called to share the important role of continuing revelation in my own life & to encourage Friends to always follow Leadings from the Inward Light.

Now I’m reading the Pendle Hill Pamphlet “Speaking as one Friend to another” and this passage really felt relevant.

I hate the politics of my country. A fascist party v. a conservative capitalist party.

I’d much rather my tax money go to addicts than our warmonger government.

I’m working on the second of ten Pendle Hill pamphlets that I recently bought. After I finish these, I think I need an extended break from Quaker literature - maybe Christian literature in general.

Thinking of buying some books on ancient Celtic history and mythology - Brythonic in particular.

It’s our duty to protect those in need and to refuse to comply with our racist government.

Patrick Wolf performing “Teignmouth” live at Amsterdam Bar & Hall in St. Paul last night.

Please forgive the random cutoff point - I accidentally clicked the stop button about 15 seconds before he finished performing.

The United States is murdering people at sea.

The Trump admin. has killed at least 57 people in attacks on boats in the Caribbean and the Pacific. Now they are pushing the U.S. toward war with Venezuela.

Congress must stop the killing and hold the administration accountable.

Patrick played this song at his show last night. I’d always liked the song, but never felt any special devotion to it. However, after hearing it live, it may be my favorite song of all time! 😍

Until I upload my own video to YouTube, enjoy this better quality video!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE show tonight! I’m just blown away. Patrick Wolf is one of those artists who is even more incredible live than recorded!

Then getting to meet Patrick and thank him for the solace his music brought when I was coming to terms with my queerness in college was awesome!

Hello from St. Paul! Here for the Patrick Wolf show tonight!

This may actually be the first time I’ve driven down to the Cities since I moved back to Duluth last year. I’ve taken the shuttle to the airport a couple times, but that’s about it lol
