just incredible optics here, the president yelling at you about how you should buy less and like it, three weeks before christmas, while standing in front of a bunch of stupefied moronic dipshits holding BIGGER PAYCHECKS signs
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

When workers have affordable health insurance, they get healthy and stay healthy which benefits their communities and our economy.

4 million Americans are expected to lose coverage if Republicans allow the ACA tax credits to expire and that shock will be felt by everyone.

If you aren't beholden to your company for your healthcare, you might get it in your head that you can walk away and still be happy.
This is exactly what the bosses who put Trump into office were trying to achieve. Crushing the tight labor market from the early Biden years that gave workers - for the first time in my adult lifetime - leverage over their bosses.

US labor market flows remained sluggish in October data released this morning, as hiring slowed to nearly the lowest level since early COVID

The hiring rate fell to 3.2%, layoffs rose to 1.2%, quits fell to 1.8%, and job openings rose to 4.6%

If ACA subsidies aren’t extended, the CBO estimates 2.2 million people will lose their health insurance in the first year, and even more thereafter (www.cbo.gov/system/files...).

Some of those people will die.
People are going to die because of the pending insurance premium hikes. I know the terrain of discourse is inconsistent and goes through a tumble cycle every 24 hours, but I really think we need to hone in on this reality and drive it home for people.

He wants you to hate immigrants because it keeps you from recognizing that he’s the problem.

Don’t fall for it.

The Supreme Court is working hard to turn this country into a despot's dreamscape—while making it nigh impossible for good people to make lasting change for the better.

The fact that SCOTUS is going to tell us who's an American and who's not is THE REASON why the Democrats must stop playing around. It's time to defend immigration as a universal good and in terms of liberty and justice for all.

Accepting rightwing lies as if they're true is how we got here.

And before that, he advocated for Trump to use troops against protesters-implying they should be shot

Anyone else want to put Tom Cotton on top of a capsized boat in international waters miles away from Venezuela and see how helpless he is?
WELKER: Lawmakers say the 2 men appeared to raise their arms potentially to surrender. Why did Admiral Bradley interpret these actions as anything other than them trying to survive?

Absolutely corrupt and undemocratic Supreme Court.
If SCOTUS planned to uphold birthright citizenship, they would’ve left the lower-court rulings untouched. Taking the case is the tell. You don’t grab a 150-year precedent just to admire it. They took it because they intend to change it. Pretending otherwise is denial.
