Just watched the Biggs Cut with my wife. Deeply satisfying. I completely get why 80% of Biggs was cut from the final film, BUT if you don't care about pacing and are just interested in character development, SO MUCH ABOUT LUKE ONLY MAKES SENSE IF YOU KNOW ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH BIGGS

ICE “left” Chicago in November, but they’ve disappeared three people from my community in two days this week.

Don’t believe the hype about them, leaving Minnesota, either.

New poll: In 2024, low-engagement voters went for Trump over Harris by 11 percentage points. But now they disapprove of the way he's handling the presidency by 13. They have moved 25 points against Trump — 2x as large as the shift for high-knowledge voters www.gelliottmorris.com/p/trump-lost...
Trump has lost the voters who weren’t paying attention in 2024
The least-engaged Americans have swung 25 points against him since 2024 — about twice the shift among everyone else. Trump has flattened the engagement gap.

Fetterman with the GOP; McConnell is still absent.

No real precedents for where we are now on this. Not seeing much effort from Trump/GOP for a stopgap, though. Doesn't feel as if either party feels much pressure to resolve it.
Congress moving closer to a shutdown for the Department of Homeland Security. Senate Democrats have filibustered a DHS funding bill - it needed 60 votes. Funding runs out Friday night.

It's true! Right-wingers really do start to believe their own bullshit about big cities.

I remember when my parents first visited me in NYC. They were legit terrified of the subway.

When they got on and saw how normal it was, they were genuinely shocked.

A) I did not know Zohran Mamdani went to my high school (!)

And B) Neil Degrasse Tyson and Jon Favreau

So it feels like I’m further down the list

Thanks for the heads up, Mr. Bona!
Wanna say Zohran Mamdani, but it’s Jon Cryer.

Was "washed up loser lawyer" one of the insults they pre-loaded in her little "burn book"?

Because I'm not sure it nails a Harvard law graduate who taught con law for 25 years before becoming a congressman who's now the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee -- and, um, likely its next chair?
Pam Bondi throws a fit:

“Last May, as a groundswell built demanding public scrutiny of the Justice Department's records on Epstein, the agency ran into a problem: it had already destroyed its master copy of surveillance video from Epstein's final hours in the Metropolitan Correctional Center.”
Newly released documents show the FBI's scramble to explain last year why it released a screen recording with a missing minute from the night Jeffrey Epstein died, instead of the original footage.

Incorrect.

Robert Mueller testified under oath that there was Russian interference in the election. And, the Mueller Report revealed the same.

"The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion."

Bondi shamelessly lies: "Robert Mueller found no evidence of foreign interference in 2016. Have you apologized to President Trump?"
