Here's a gift link, because I am furious about this. Everyone needs to ask Josh Hawley about this provision AND call him out for lying when he claims his phone was "tapped." Call logs are not phone taps.

Today the Supreme Court heard a very, very technical case about whether a government contractors (in this case, private prison company GEO Group) should get essentially qualified immunity for contractors (I'm oversimplifying). The answer, it seems, will be no.

This is another wealth transfer, because the DOJ won't defend these suits, they'll settle. This is a $500k payout to the Jan 6ers in Congress.
Look at this new outrage. To open govt, we're retroactively letting 8 Senators sue for $500K each over having had their J6 phone toll records looked at. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/10/u...

I'm listening in to the hearing on the Motion for TRO in the Boston SNAP case. We're waiting for Judge Talwani to take the bench.
I'll try to do the Comey hearing at 4:00 ET if possible, but guessing these two will overlap.

And please call Tammy Duckworth - (202) 224-2854 - and encourage her to push Durbin to resign and to replace Schumer as leader.

The thing about the "I voted against this" position Schumer is taking is that either he is trying to mislead Dem voters by implying he didn't support reopening right now, or he has no control over his caucus.
