Hey, and guess who knew that's exactly what they would do?

Absolutely everyone.

Whereas in Illinois, our governors all wind up in jail.
November 11, 2025 at 6:52 AM
Yeah, I felt dumb as soon as I hit “reply.”
November 11, 2025 at 6:39 AM
Damn. And people voted for this person??
November 11, 2025 at 6:35 AM
He....what?

Also, it's actually been gaining tenants lately, and retail vacancy is better than it's been since 2023.

Dumbass.

Hated him for taking ROTY away from Mark Grace (I was 16).

I assume?

I know as soon as I turn off the lights, Judge Talwani is going to drop her ruling....
November 11, 2025 at 6:06 AM
Not very likely that anyone will go to jail, because who do you send? Brooke Rollins? The lawyer in the room with you? Whoever is making these decisions (Stephen Miller)? I know people are dying to see someone go to jail, and rightly so, but it's not likely to happen.

"But given the dire emergency facing the affected Plaintiffs, Plaintiffs are constrained to bring this to the Court’s attention as soon as possible. Plaintiffs are available for a conference at the Court’s convenience."
November 11, 2025 at 5:54 AM
It was pretty clear from today's testimony that there is a lot of bad lawyering taking place at the DOJ. Directly defying a court's stay is...woof. Not great.

Earlier today, Judge Talwani stayed the USDA memo that told states that they needed to "undo" the SNAP payments they had paid out in full.

It looks like the USDA is trying to force states to comply with it anyway.

"At least for New Jersey, its SNAP/EBT
processing vendor has advised that ... the vendor will need to shut off benefit cards entirely because there are simply no funds remaining."
November 11, 2025 at 5:50 AM
"To have even partial benefit levels funded solely by the contingency fund, USDA’s systems are now effectively forcing the affected Plaintiffs to “undo” steps they took to provide full benefits to SNAP recipients in their States—exactly what this Court has temporarily barred Defendants from doing."
November 11, 2025 at 5:49 AM
"DOJ’s response appears to confirm that, to access any funding for November, many States would need to comply with the November 8 USDA guidance that this Court already stayed".
November 11, 2025 at 5:48 AM
"Based on information currently available to these States, USDA is refusing to make credit available—even at the partial benefits levels funded solely by the contingency fund, not by Section 32 funds—to several States that submitted full benefit issuance files."
