The thing with this is there’s a heavy investment in making it appear as if being a decent person leads to a miserable existence when the opposite is true in my experience.

I wonder if people know that @psabortionfund.bsky.social is volunteer run. Hard to find a better example of mutual aid and yet they struggle to keep supporting abortion seekers every month because of lack of money. When I think of it, I want to absolutely rant but it won't do any good.
