Well, this could change my mind, if Warner were chosen as a target. Very big if tho.
"We’re done waiting for Dems to find their spine. We can’t afford a weak & cowardly Democratic Party while the authoritarians invade our cities, terrorize our communities, & threaten our democracy. We get the party we demand, & we intend to demand a Democratic Party that fights.” — @indivisible.org

I’m so old it still feels like a marvel that places like this are Metro-accessible now.

Sincere question: which orgs are willing to support a challenge to Warner? Until we have a robust answer to that question, I have a hard time seeing a statewide primary succeed.

I got this useful bon mot from a middle school teacher recently.

In response to, “I DONT UNDERSTAND,” he calmly said, “okay what steps have you taken to understand?”

And that’s when I realized that a lot of folks have no steps.

It’s a good reminder. As someone whose local Indivisible experience of exactly this dynamic drove me to DSA seven years ago, I get a little frustrated it took this long to see the light, but, the transition is def something to have empathy for. I mean, it’s been seven years and I’m not over it lol

The idea we’re supposed to believe this was Warner’s authentic position—I’m sure he has a bridge to sell us next.
But I cannot support a deal that still leaves millions of Americans wondering how they are going to pay for their health care or whether they will be able to afford to get sick.
