This did not end the War of The Roses as Richard's son Edward inherited his father's claim to the English throne, one he would successfully press only months later. #otd #history 🗃️

While the notion of measurement validity is comparatively familiar, ground truth may need more of an introduction. As I reposted this diagram it occurred to me that I’m sitting here reading a book that was printed 90 years ago, cost me almost nothing, and remains in perfectly good condition (albeit a bit faded and spotted). Not sure how much we are producing now that will still be useable in 90 years time.
