Clicked the link expecting a hefty price tag and I was delighted to see that the paperback is only 36 euro with the discount!
If I've done my sums right, the book is available to pre-order on Tuesday, and Tuesday is also the final day of Routledge's 'Black Friday' sale which means everything is 25% off. So if anyone was thinking about pre-ordering, Tuesday might be a good day for it.

This lets you see really nicely where Govan Old sits in relation to the new bridge across the Clyde (has 'Pointy bridge' stuck?) and the Riverside museum. You can also see where it is in relation to the University - you can see the tower of the main building at the very top, almost dead centre.

My article on Schopenhauer‘s alleged misanthropy is now available in early view - and it’s open access!
How Not to Hate Humanity: Schopenhauer's Response to Misanthropy
Abstract. Schopenhauer has a longstanding reputation for misanthropy. The reputation is warranted, but it is also potentially misleading. Privately, Schope

Our conversation about immigration is framed entirely on Nigel Farage’s terms.
Labour has completely capitulated the ground to the far right, the racism & the hate.

We no longer have a conversation AT ALL about how we need immigration & when we cut it, we pay the price. #r4today

Today we’ll get latest net immigration figures - They’ll show immigration for work is plummeting.

Why is this not part of the discussion on Rachel Reeves balancing her books & stalled growth?

For every 100,000 drop in net immigration, the OBR adds £7bn to the deficit. #r4today

There are a number of different starting points that would just immediately make this oversight really apparent, and this is definitely one. Another thing I've linked it too is the dismissal of issues about unequal access to education and other such issues on page 1 of Fricker's book.
Due to severe economic inequalities in the Global South, we have emphasized this point from the beginning. This is very important to us. Since I started teaching from Miranda's book, students themselves have pointed out the lack of examples and discussion about class-based social prejudices.
Today was the last class of my KIP course, and we spent it on the neglect of class/classism in the epistemic injustice literature, focusing on this paper:
