Right, just been discussing that sequence in another sub-thread. I have to admit, I also liked the Dr Manhattan back-story bits - I thought that was faithful to the source material but well handled. The intro was definitely up there too for me, though. Not so much the rest.
Yes, that's right - the Dylan intro worked really well, managing to do a huge amount of world-building in a few minutes, and giving it all a nostalgic feel

Still looks like a great film - every shot here looks like the comic brought to life. 'the visionary director of 300" is a bit of a red flag, but the Smashing Pumpkins are there to reassuringly smooth that over

Nothing to share, sorry - not because it's confidential, but just because I wasn't in on the decision at all. They've presumably done it based on the topic, and how they best think they can sell it to the desired audience - but I don't even know who 'they' is in this sentence.

Thanks Pilar - I was really pleased that they decided to do the paperback realise simultaneously. (I'd have liked it to be a bit less pricey in general, without the discount, but it is what it is.)
