Going to watch the American football on Channel5 shortly. Went to dinner last night and actually met the "why are we putting up immigrants in hotels when there's veterans sleeping rough who need housing" opinion in the wild.
Was quite satisfying though to see the cogs grinding when I pointed out that it's not a binary choice and that we could do both.

One of the saddest things for me about all those people barking about immigrants not sharing British values is that most of them have a stronger adherence to good fellowship and care for neighbours and family than the average British person, in my experience.

Since we lost our two dogs this year we're trying to convince our outdoor cat (who arrived in our greenhouse one day and refused to leave) into an indoor cat. Going OK so far. I've only lost one limb. She is fucking enormous.
