Despite taking the piss I do actually like American football. I watched two regular season games when they came over here to play in London, and when there was an NFL Europe I went to see the London Monarchs several times. I even pride myself on knowing at one point maybe 3-4% of the rules π

We were staying in Junosuando but I can't remember where we did the sledding exactly. It was about 90 minutes drive from there.

I'm noticing that a lot of the Winter Olympic competitors who fall over, crash out, have a terrible run or whatever are getting up and smiling & laughing and joyous at just being there and competing.
In a lot of other sports they look like their life has ended.
This has to be healthier, right?

That all rings true, apart from the "awfully active" bit. Mind you, it's entirely possible that Mrs P and I have actually run her ragged. We're both keen walkers and have been taking her up the Roaches every day. Today, she actually hid in her crate when we got her lead out π

I'm sorry, but "Mioritic Shepherd Dog" ABSOLUTELY sounds like an insult.
Her DNA results are in. She is a varied mixture of: Ovcharka, Romanian Mioritic Shepherd Dog (no surprise there), German Shepherd Dog, Husky, and somewhat improbably; Chihuahua π€ #DogsOfBluesky
