Lynda Jones is known for her atmospheric oil paintings of the Welsh landscape, particularly around Monmouth and the Wye Valley.
Her work is not an exact representation of reality but rather based on memories of specific places. She builds up her paintings layer by layer to create depth and richness.

Theodor Kittelsen is most renowned for his depictions of Norwegian folklore, making creatures like trolls, huldra, and Nøkken feel tangible within the Norwegian wilderness.
His art often fused the beauty of nature with supernatural elements, giving it a conscious, sometimes menacing, presence.
