Remember watching this with one of my best friends. We were petrified of the tyrannosaurus rex and held onto each other during the scary parts.

Linda Holmes' take after the Oscars:

"So frankly, it's not something I would want someone I was married to say. But clearly, she likes him. And I think if you're married to that guy, this has to be OK with you, or you would run out of the house with your hair on fire in three days."

Great speech by Jon Stewart about the problems comics face under authoritarianism. Wouldn’t it have been cool if he’d thought about it before the election?

Strange reading this while my husband is watching the season finale of Foundation.
So how are all my former gifted and talented kids who used to read several books a day and now rot their faculties doomscrolling while ignoring a TV show doing tonight

When I remarked on the unicycle's corn dog valve cover at the State Fair's bike corral, a man in a cow costume produced another corn dog valve cover and gave it to me

That's a statistically improbable sentence, but 100% true

It’s a golden age for Cassandras.
My prediction is that in that scenario, he blames the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which puts out employment data. Calls them corrupt, run by Democrats, out to get him. Fires people there, insists their numbers cannot be trusted, White House puts out its own fictitious data to make Trump look good

What are you made of?

1. books & baked goods
2. coffee & spite
3. fried potatoes & exhaustion

There is not enough baseball suffering in the world for Braves fans
Talking about how much Braves fans have suffered as you show an extended shot of them doing the chop is a great way to remind your audience that they deserve every drop of misery they’ve had and exponentially more forever
