There’s something about the fact that we got amber alerts on our phones for a white 7yo who was kidnapped and now she’s home. He won’t get an amber alert. We know who took this 5yo and where he is, and there’s no path home for him.

What we mean is some people are patrolling, risking serious harm following ICE in vehicles.
Others are delivering food and medicine to people hiding in their homes. You can’t do both.

A thing that might not be clear from the outside is that while everyone here is engaged in this fight, ICE’s use of dystopian technology means that you essentially have to pick a lane between observing ICE and doing mutual aid. They are tracking observers’ cars, and taking pictures of their faces.

My group was able to recover a spent canister from a green smoke grenade in Minneapolis. We now confirm with physical evidence that it was a green signaling grenade.

i don't understand why so many people are so adamant that what ICE is doing is not the same as law enforcement. i disagree and i think a lot of the arguments ring very hollow, but more to the point: what's behind the desperate need to protect police legitimacy right now?

Every day some story breaks me some. Today it’s the guy who approached parents at a school patrol, told them he was with Indivisible, and asked about how the patrol system works. The parents gave vague answers, followed him back to his car — and of course it was ICE.
